Souq Waqif

Souq Waqif is one of most famous attractions in Qatar. Literally translated to the "standing market”, this shopping destination is renowned for selling traditional garments, spices, handicrafts, and souvenirs. It is also home to restaurants serving cuisines from all over the world including counties such as China, India, Iran, Arabia, Italy, Malaysia and Morocco. Souq Waqif stood the test of time and has recently been restored to its indigenous glory. The Katara Cultural Village is also one of the main landmarks in Qatar. Museum of Islamic Art

The Museum of the Islamic Arts is  “the must-see” attraction in Qatar. The museum, which opened to the public in December of 2008, showcases a selection of Islamic artifacts that the Qatari Royal Family has been collecting for many years. This collection of artifacts in the museum include islamic items such as ancient pages of the Holy Quran that date back centuries.

Villaggio Mall is located on Al Waab Street right beside the Hyatt Plaza.
